Introduction

Welcome to my new blog.

I am well aware that in 2026, there are plenty of blogs about Kubernetes, Cloud Native, and AI. The difference here is that I aim to not only talk about the latest and greatest in Enterprise Cloud Native technologies (Enterprise AI included), but also share experiences from the trenches of C-Level and executive decision-making in this space.

By way of introduction, my name is Nelson Kinsford. I have a background in the Enterprise Infrastructure tech sector, spanning both hardware and software. My current role at SUSE is where I draw my inspiration for this blog. It has me embedded in exec engagements, preaching the Open Source mantra and Cloud Native technologies for business and enterprise growth.

The content of this blog will be a mix of showcasing cool technologies and thought leadership. I cannot and will not publicly commit to a cadence.

Two ground rules for this blog:

  1. I promise not to use AI to write entire articles. These are honest, real-life experiences from the field. I will permit myself to use AI to proofread and suggest grammar changes (I am not a professional writer by any means, but I do try my best).

  2. The content in this blog will be agnostic. Even though my primary exposure to this space is drawn from my current position at SUSE, this blog is not a conduit to push vendor-specific marketing. If you are interested in what SUSE is doing, I will frequently post content on my LinkedIn or share blog posts from the official SUSE blog.

If I am found to break my own rules, please call me out; I should have standards.
